Registration

This is an in-person event in Ypsilanti, MI and is designed for teachers in and around the Eastern Michigan area.

This event includes a $20 registration fee. Upon the completion of the event, you will receive a refund of the $20 registration fee, it will be included in your travel stipend (you will receive a $120 check which includes the $100 travel stipend and the $20 registration fee refund).

If you register after Monday, August 31, 2026, you will receive your stipend and registration fee refund check in the mail after the event.

Pre-registration has ended, but you can still register for the event. Due to printing deadlines your name will not appear on the participant list, however, you will have a printed badge at the registration desk at the event. Home address is requested for the address noted on the stipend check.

The Cato Institute is dedicated to making sure that Sphere is a welcoming experience for everyone, regardless of gender, race, or any other personal characteristic. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Inappropriate language and imagery are not permitted in any venue, including anything communicated during the virtual event, on social media, or in any other online outlet. Participants who violate these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event at the discretion of organizers, and appropriate legal action will be taken where applicable.
